An “end” to item numbers?
The trend of item numbers was first commenced by the famous, “Munni” hit song which was mouthed by almost everyone around the globe. However, this song faced competition by Katrina Kaif’s spectacular item number in the movie “Danbagg” namely, “Sheila Ke Jawani.”
Items numbers can never be put to an end in Bollywood but looks like so that the beautifull and dazzling Katrina Kaif has. She started 2012 with “Chikni Chameli” in the movie “Agneepath” followed by a lead female role in the movie “Bodyguard” which hit the cinemas with a boom making it a blockbuster which ultimately hit more that 120 crores. Katrina’s enthusiasm for item numbers and a liking for them has been intense but however she thinks that she has done more than enough in this field.
After so many hit movies, she is shifting her focus to other things and is currently working with Yash Chopra in a comeback film set up in London. The gorgeous Katrina says, “I am happy with all the appreciation coming my way for the songs I’ve been part of. But I’m currently focusing on the three films I am doing. There are no plans for any other solo song appearances as of now. If something really interesting comes my way in the future and I can make time for it, I’ll consider it.”
Sharukh Khan and Anushka Sharma are the actors working alongside Katrina in the upcoming movie.
