Wanted terrorist arrested with hand grenades in Bannu
BANNU: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a wanted terrorist and recovered hand grenades during a search operation here on Wednesday.
The CTD on a tip-off conducted search operation against the militants in Bannu during which a wanted terrorist identified as Muhammad Umer was apprehended. On information provided by the detainee the police raided another house and recovered three hand grenades.
The CTD said that the nabbed terrorist was wanted by police in various terrorism cases and his father Muhammad Ismail was also wanted by law enforcement agencies (LEAs).
The detained terrorist has been shifted to an undisclosed destination for further interrogation and important revelations were expected.
