HYDERABAD: Advisor to Sindh chief minister for Culture Ms. Sharmila Farooqui has said it was amazing that whenever action against corruption in Punjab is taken the federal government starts to scream. She said they were not against actions on corruption but do not approve humiliation. She said there was anti corruption establishment and chief minister inspection team in Sindh so there was no need of federal probe agencies. Addressing ceremony in respect of restoration work of tomb of Mir Karam Ali Talpur here, she said if Justice Commission can be formed in KPK then what was harm in Ehtsab Commission in Sindh. She said after completion of renovation work on tomb of Mir Karam Ali Khan Talpur it has been handed to culture department. She said renovation work on 11 historical sites of was in progress and vowed to restore all steps would be taken. On this occasion former Sindh minister Zahid Bhurgri, Syed Fayaz Shah, secretary culture Niaz Abbasi, former secretary Hameed Akhund, DG culture Manzoor Klasro, AFT incharge Ishtiaq Ansari, Mir Hyder Talpur and Ibrahim Shah were also present. She said it was responsibility of culture department to look after historical sites. She said renovation work on Mir Karam Ali Talpur tomb incurred 25 million rupees and 5 years in completion. She said culture department would not allow to erase the historical sites and would also start work on 11 other sites including Paka Qila Hyderabad. Later she visited the tomb of Mir Karam Ali Khan Talpur and handed keys to Mir Hyder Talpur. She also said on talk of action against corruption in Punjab Mian Nawaz Sharif gets angry. She also said that federal government’s was step motherly treatment wish Sindh yet they have adopted patience.
