Two Chinese players join PSL team

MUMBAI: The game of cricket is not played seriously in China, however, their two players have joined the PSL (Pakistan Super League) team in Dubai to be trained with the senior players.

This was revealed by Javed Afridi, the Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi team. Speaking exclusively from Dubai, he said, “the two Chinese cricketers (Jian Ali and Yufie Zhang) will be with the Peshawar Zalmi squad from today. This step will go a long way in facilitating aspiring cricketers in China and in reinforcing the bond between the two nations”.

“Peshawar Zalmi Mentor Younis Khan presented Peshawar Zalmi shirts to both Chinese Cricketers as Team Zalmi Welcome them for PSL. Both cricketers will do training with Peshawar Zalmi in training sessions to gain great experience”, the team’s spokesman Ghaffar added.

“Amazing feelings”, Jian Ali, the China player later said. “To be with the team and getting training from the superstars is indeed gives us satisfaction”.

“I am very happy and enjoying. Coming here and to be with Younis Khan and the other players is great”, the other player Yufie Zhang said.
