It isn’t of surprise that John Travolta has landed into another legal problem like always. The problem involved a writer who wrote a book about the famous Hollywood’s stars suspected gay encounters and has therefore filed a defamation case against the actor. Robert Randolph stands firm on the fact that the star and his attorney dishonor him by erroneously claiming the writer had mental issues which was reported in the papers. The claims were promptly dismissed by Travolta as illogical and ‘meritless’.
The author claims that comments made by the John Travolta damaged sales of ‘You’ll Never Spa In This Town Again’, which tries to let slip the ‘Grease’ star’s romps in massage parlors.
A proclamation from John Travolta’s orator said: “The lawsuit filed by Robert Randolph is absurd. The suit is based on a privileged communication, and it will promptly be thrown out by the court. To evaluate the credibility of Robert Randolph and his ridiculous lawsuit one needs look no further than his own statements published on his website stating that he sustained ‘permanent brain damage’ and had to ‘retrain’ his brain. Mr John Travolta will aggressively defend himself against this lawsuit and expects to be fully vindicated when this meritless case is dismissed.”
Alongside this, John Travolta’s lawyer called the suit quite absurd and in return wants to take legal proceedings “for malicious prosecution after the court promptly dismisses this baseless lawsuit”.
