Currency smuggling case: Model Ayyan Ali granted one day exemption
RAWALPINDI, Mar 03 (INP): The Customs Court in Rawalpindi on Thursday granted one day exemption to model Ayyan Ali from appearing in the court in currency smuggling case.
When Customs Court Judge Aftab Ahmad Khan resumed the hearing, Ayyan’s counsel Nasir Abbas filed an application seeking one-day exemption for his client from court appearance.
He took the plea that his client was unwell, therefore, she be granted one day exemption.
The court sought medical report of Ayyan and accepted her plea for one-day exemption.
The court adjourned the hearing till March 17 with a directive that Ayyan should be produced in next hearing.
