Rani Mukherjee’s film delayed?
Beautiful Indian actress Rani Mukherjee who has been off-filming for a while has been taking up the lead role in an upcoming movie. However, the movie was set to be released on the 28th of September but now has been postoned/delayed and will hit the cinemas worldwide during Dussehra. The film, namely, “Aiyya” has been a production directed by Sachin Kundalkar and co-produced by Anurag Kashyap and Viacom 18.
“Yes, we were supposed to release our film on Sep 28, but now the film has been pushed back. There is no particular reason as such. It is a collaborated decision taken by Anurag Kashyap and Viacom 18,” Kundalkar said. “Now we are looking for Dussehra release. It will be releasing in the last week of October,” he added.
The story of “Aiyya” revolves around a women who finds a man desirable because he smells good and Rani Mukherjee, last seen in “No One Killed Jessica”, has teamed up with southern actor Prithvi Raj for the movie. “I am not really done with the film. The editing is going on full swing. And Amit Trivedi is composing the music presently,” said Kundalkar.
“The film is a mixture of reality and dream and Rani Mukherjee will be seen doing three item songs in her dream in the film. Amit Trivedi has composed six songs for the film and three of them will be Rani Mukherjee’s item songs,” Sachin Kundalkar exclaimed.
